Brides are always beautiful – that is a fact that everybody would agree to. Of course, it will not do you any harm if you plan to be a trendy bride whose looks would fit both the aisle and the runway.

So, what bridal looks is trendy for 2017?

We have rounded up some of our favorites from what we have seen on the runways. Excited? Here they are:

Yes, we know this is not the usual hairstyle brides have in mind. It is quite far from the classic up-dos and cascading waves we are used to seeing in weddings. But those two long braids, or what we call boxy braids, could just be the twist you are looking for to complete your cool and modern look for your wedding.

This year, it is all about taking the phrase blushing bride quite literally. You need not worry about the proper contouring and highlighting so much. In fact, what you want to have for your special day is the look of gamine innocence, which is easily achieved by youthful, rosy cheeks.

If the braids are not for you, then this laidback look may be your thing. Instead of too made-up hair that’s heavy on sprays and bobby pins, why not wear your hair effortlessly? Channel your inner Parisian chic lady with very minimal makeup, and have your face framed by an easy and fun set of textured bangs.

Not every bride likes a fresh-faced approach. Some are dreaming of a more dramatic and somewhat mysterious look. You can both be glam and intriguing by doing a subtly smoky eye makeup. Keep everything else muted so your eyes would be highlighted. Remember to keep your eyebrows on fleek, because well-groomed (and lined) eyebrows are always trendy.

This year, fresh flowers are not solely reserved for bouquets. While this is the year of wearing jewels on your hair for regular days and some fun parties, if you are a bride, you could get away with what you’ve always wanted to do when you were a young girl – wear flowers on your hair! You can adorn your braided hair with some fresh flowers and complete the look with very light tulle or an intricately embroidered veil.

Whatever trend you might want to incorporate in your bridal look, bringing out the real you is the best way to look like the most beautiful and the happiest bride in the world. Of course, you also need the help of an expert hair and makeup artist to make sure that you stand out on your big day. Call Farnaz and we can discuss what look will highlight your best features!
